VM Online DbLink Part of the success of VM has been its ability to integrate with rating systems. DbLink has been central to that success and has now been redeveloped to become DbLink OnlineT. This product is a utility used to transfer data from corporate systems and to update the VM database system. DbLink ExtractT is a server (command line) utility installed at the Council site that will automatically extract data from corporate systems in much the same way as its predecessor has been doing and copy these extract files to a secure ftp site (nominated IP address only) for further processing. Transferred in compressed XML format, the extract is scheduled using Windows Task Scheduler to automatically upload at regular times. DbLink OnlineT is a new web based interface that enables the user to update the VM database with ALL or a selected uploaded file. The timing of the update is controlled by the user, to allow for appropriate management of the Supplementary and Revaluation process. With the capability to automatically populate receipts from a corporate receipting system to all Munitec databases, DbCash has proven to be a very powerful device and eradicates double handling errors by entering financial data only once. Essential for annual invoices such as animal accounts and health act registrations where invoices are paid at one period in the year. DbCash automates the update of those records with receipt transactions. Displayed on the fees screen the operator can quick check whether an account has been paid for this year. Also, permits that require multiple transactions can be paid off with one total amount against the application id. The cashier need only to enter a number and the payee and total amount will display inside their cash receipting system. DbCash allows you to leverage existing resources without purchasing addition hardware or application software.
